Christopher Kane FW 2013

SO, Christopher Kane's collection was probably the one I was most excited for in London Fashion Week. Kane only recently appeared on the fashion radar a few years ago but he has established himself and become loved by many. (I'm one of those people.) In his latest collection, he went for a sensible route using heavy fabrics. Looking below you can check out the major trends in his Fall 2013 show:

Jeremy Scott FW 2013

Jeremy Scott rules fashion week again with his crazy antics and his ability to do whatever he wants. If you've followed my blog for some time now, you would have figured out that I love Jeremy Scott and he's one of my many favorites designers. He is fabulous. Scott's Fall 2013 collection is all about zombies and cartoon death patterns. The signatures like printed pants and dyed furs were evident but done in new ways. Check out the highlights below

Rodarte FW 2013

Rodarte's Fall 2013 show at New York Fashion Week included a lot of ideas. While, I did tend to like most of it, there was little refinement (if any). The label showed everything from black to white to nude to tie-dye to sponged. It all works for Fall 2013 and I think the season will be successful but it was A LOT.

So starting with the first trend, monochromatic layering

DKNY FW 2013

Donna Karan's Fall 2013 collection was bursting with fun. Seriously, scarlet and cheetah print in one show together. One of my favorite things she played with was the sizing of the print and then combining the different sizes together in one cohesive look that didn't look like an adult onesie. It came across very well.

Below you'll see some of the pieces I loved and the trend examples from the show...
