UPDATE: I'm still alive

Hello, I know I haven't blogged in awhile. I was exhausted this semester but it's all finally over!! *firework noises* Even though I was absent from this blog I wasn't just absent from doing things which is why you should follow my instagram if you care what I'm doing. I wanted to upload this outfit as an update to what's going to happen. I'm going to get back to blogging now that I have the time and I have a lot of things in the works. I'm not comfortable sharing them yet but just know THINGS ARE COMING AND THOSE THINGS ARE EXCITING YA DIG?

I noticed after I did my hair in these braids I was unconsciously referencing the hair at Alexander McQueen's last show, Plato's Atlantis SS2010. He's one of the most influential people to me and I didn't intend to copy the hair, it just naturally happened.

#OOTD: Entering the Matrix

This coat is so warm and I'm ready for winter to beat some ass. It's so tough! I look intimidating in this, isn't it FABULOUS? And I paired it with these Christian Dior sunglasses. This coat goes so well with everything and ugh it's my pride and joy at the moment. I also posted a photo to my instagram in this coat but with different Dior sunglasses that still paired PERFECTLY because obviously this coat is PERFECT.

Dior SS 2013 recreated

Hey guys, sometime last week I did Pat McGrath's look for the Dior SS 2013 runway show. Her colors were a lot more vibrant but I wanted to make it edgy so I used a black eye pencil under a black shadow and just some holographic blue/orange/green/ crystals. I just thought it would be fun to upload.

#OOTD: Call me Princess

Hello! I've been wanting a skirt like this for a couple months now but I've always held off on buying it (I don't know why). And I finally bought it! It's actually an inside-out petticoat but I preferred the texture of the inside to the satin cloth of the outside. It's no mystery that I'm into Asian fashion and one of my favorite subcultures is Harajuku, but most importantly and more specifically the kawaii aspect of it all. My entire outfit probably cost me like $20 (?) at most except for the boots; it's all thrifted and the skirt is from eBay.

Prada or Nada

This is  just a quick blog post showing a recent find of mine! I went to Nordstrom Rack for the first time with my friend and I'm kind of getting more and more into sunglasses and how they can be used as a vehicle to block people out or push them away and I found these! I got them 50% off which was amazing and I debated getting them because they're very yellow and I was worried I wouldn't be able to wear them as often as I would like for how expensive they were. Ultimately I thought to myself "would Zenon wear these?" and the answer was yes so my debate ended there.

For my first time wearing them I just styled them with a vintage tuxedo shirt layered under a vinyl vest that I made and white jeans.

#OOTD: Mugler Cyborg

So if you haven't been able to figure out I am in love with everything Nicola Formichetti does (hence the blog title Nicolakilledme). His stint at Mugler was no different and I hadn't purchased any of the pieces from his previous collections at the house so with this last season I was determined to buy something substantial. I bought this cute ass sweater! I'm moving in a more futuristic direction with my style so I thought this sweater fit perfectly in that goal.
I'm also incredibly influenced by 1990s/early 2000s movies and Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century is one of my main references for literally everything. This sweater reminded me of something she would wear so obvi I had to snatch it up.

#OOTD: Vengeance

I watched a film called Sympathy for Lady Vengeance because Arabelle Sicardi (FashionPirate) always talks about it and references it. She's literally my absolute fav blogger so I had to see what it was all about and wow let me tell you. It made me want to go out and fight people, like this movie got my rail-thin self riled up. It's a must see but be warned there are gory parts near the end so don't say I didn't warn you.

fun fact: This jacket came with a horrid dress as a set that I HAD to buy but it was worth it for just the jacket.
